Full Itinerary

  • Day 1:Bangkok arrival

    Arrival at Bangkok International Airport. Meet your English speaking guide and transfer to your hotel (check-in time at 14.00, the “early check-in” is not included in the price). The glorious history of the capital of Thailand, Bangkok is closely linked to the Chakri Dynasty which still reigns but does reign in Thailand. Free time after a long flight.

  • Day 2:Bangkok city (B)

    Today, we will take the whole day to explore Bangkok – the city of golden temples.

    The first destination is the Grand Palace. This huge architecture complex is over 2 sq. kilometers, including 3 main sites: Royal Palace, Royal Office and pagodas (Wat) built in 1770s. Nowadays, the Grand Palace is no longer home of Thailand Royal, most of national significant events takes place there. Wat Phra Kaew is the most out-standing architecture in complex, built in 1785 when King Rama I moved the capital to Bangkok. The pagoda is famous not only for its beauty of unique Thailand Buddhism architecture but also for the sacred jade Buddha statue.

    Nearby Grand Palace is Wat Pho – the oldest and biggest pagoda in Bangkok with more than 1000 Buddha statues and the huge one sit-back Buddha in gold. This pagoda is also famous for being a birthplace of traditional Thai massage, since there is a traditional medicine school established in 1982, educating the arts of Thai massage.

    After having lunch, we visit Wat Traimit. This pagoda is famous for its unique and historic beauty, and also for the huge golden Buddha statue. Thai people believe that the statue represents for prosperity and purity, as well as strength and power.

    In the afternoon, we will board on a boat to pay a visit along the Chao Phraya River, watching the life of local people close by. On route, we stop at Wat Arun, known as the most beautiful pagoda in Bangkok not only for its location on the Chao Phraya’s riverbank but also for the different architecture from other pagodas. The pagoda was decorated with glass pieces and Chinese ceramic, in a complicated style.

    Return to the hotel and you are free to explore Bangkok by night.

  • Day 3: Bangkok - Railway Market - Floating Market - Kanchanaburi (B)

    After breakfast, transfer to visit railway market Talad Rom Hoop or Maeklong. It is a unique market held every day literally on the railways. This activity in the rail market starts several minutes before the train passes through the market. As soon as the siren indicates the arrival of the train, everything stops.

    Customers will jump out of the way, and sellers quickly pack their goods and prepare to close / retract their canopies to the train track as the train passes through. The process happens quickly since awnings poles have attached wheels. Once the train departed, his affairs are carried as usual like nothing happened. For the people here, they are neither excited nor annoyed by this event because the market is here long before the construction of the railway in 1905.

    Then, we departure to visit the floating market of Damnoen Saduak, we visit a coconut sugar farm. Continuation of a motor boat ride in a fruit plantation to see Thai houses and the traditional lifestyle. Then we do a walk through the orchards and temples in the area.

    Then we continue the road to Kanchanaburi town. Upon arrival, visit the WWII memorial including the war museum Jeath Cemetery. Then boarding a train ride along the railway of death in the city for the night

  • Day 4: Kanchanaburi - Erawan Park - Ayutthaya (B)
    Early morning departure to Erawan National Park considered as the most beautiful waterfall of Thailand. This is such an impressive series of seven tiers, each with a shape and character on its own. Originating from the Monglai Stream, water flows down from the hill at height of 2000m and flows into the Khwae Yai River. The waterfall is named after the legendary three-headed white elephant living in the Himavarna forest. You’ll get to enjoy a relaxing swim in the natural pools.
    In the afternoon, transfer by road to Ayutthaya. The ancient city of Ayuthay is known as the “Venice of the East” because it is located along the Chao Phraya River, tributaries surrounding the Ayuthaya province.

  • Day 5: Ayutthaya - city tour - night train to Chiang Mai (B) *no guide on board*
    After breakfast, a tour by tuk tuk “Kermit” you discover the magnificent ruins of ancient temples in the historical park: Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, one of the most photographed temples of Ayutthaya and Wat Phra Mahathat, Wat Bophit Mongkhon and Wat Ratburana, they are all beautiful. Then, we will stop at Wat Yai Chaimongkhol, one of the largest reclining Buddha image and the ruins of the great Royal Palace & Temples.
    Afternoon visit the Palace Bang Pa In. At its origin, the palace was a river island, King Prasat Thong (1630-1655) had a palace built on a lake in the middle of the island to serve as a royal refuge. This place was once used by each ruler of Ayutthaya. However, when the capital moved to Bangkok, the palace remained unused for 80 years. King Rama IV (1851-1868) revived the area by building a house. His son, Rama V (1868-1910) deeply loved this place, staying there every year. He built the splendid set that can be visited today.
    Evening, transfer to a station to take the night train to Chiang Mai (2nd class).

  • Day 6: Chiang Mai - city tour (B)

    The guide & driver pick you up at train station and transfer to visit Chiang Mai city. Breakfast is served at a local restaurant. After breakfast, we have a walking tour to the old town. You will see the most beautiful temples of Chiang Mai including of Wat Phra Singh temple, Wat Phan Tao, Wat Chedi Luang

    Wat Phra Singh is one of the most sacred temples in Chiang Mai with Lanna style architecture. And it is well-known for the name”The temple of the Lion Buddha”
    We then continue to Wat Phan Tao, an ancient temple with beautiful garden area sitting right next to the sacred Wat Chedi Luang in Chiang Mai town.
    Next to Wat Phan Tao is Wat Chedi Luang a Buddhist temple in the historic centre of Chiang Mai, Thailand. Its chedi is one of the tallest structures in the old city. There are a lots of important Buddhist holidays take place here
    Then you will stroll along streets lined with traditional houses, where you make a tour by cyclo. From there, you will go to Great Market Warorot. To brighten up your evening, browse the Night Market for yourself.

  • Day 7: Chiang Mai - Mae Sa Pok Hike - bamboo raft (B, L)

    After breakfast, departure from your hotel by private car for a day of hiking in the villages of the tribe Karen White. You start with a jungle walk (about 2 hours) to the village where you meet and interact with the villagers.
    Continuation of the jungle walk (about an hour) to get to the beautiful waterfall. You enjoy a relaxing swim and picnic lunch. In the afternoon you enjoy a stroll in the bamboo raft along the river.
    Back in Chiang Mai at around 17h – 17h30. Dinner by your own account and overnight in Chiang Mai.

  • Day 8 :Chiang Mai - Doi Inthanon (B)

    The day begins with a transfer to Doi Inthanon National Park. It will take about 2 hours to reach the highest peak in Thailand. When we arrived, we spend 2 to 3 hours through the jungle along a narrow mountain path that will lead us to beautiful waterfalls in the middle of a lush jungle. Along the way, before reaching the village of Karen tribes Pagagayaw we cross farmlands where you will see the coffee plantation, farm flowers and beautiful rice fields. Discover the village of hill tribe Pagagayaw Karen and enjoy a cup of coffee grown locally, then go to the waterfall Vachiratharn, a thunderous cascade of 70 meters high. Enjoy the fresh cool air to the waterfall before continuing to the ground. After that, you will visit the beautiful architecture of Napamaytanidol Chedi and Phra Mahatat Napaphon Bhumisiri, built to celebrate the 60th anniversary of King Bhumibol and Queen Sirikit. Please bring your tower, swimsuit, camera, spray anti-insect, sun cream

  • Day 9: Chiang Mai – Chiang Rai (B)

    Morning, you take the road to Doi Mae Salong. You will climb and hurtle down the green hills covered with tea plantations. Enjoy also the delicious tea produced by one of the many plantations in the region, before continuing your way to Chiang Rai. Doi Mae Salong, visit two ethnic minority villages: the Village Akah Loyo and the Lisu village of Ban Haygo. Visit the Botanical Garden Mae Fah Luang. Arival in Chiang Rai, we will take on our boat cruise on Mae Kok river from Chiang Rai to Karen village where you can watch elephants or feed them. Transfer back to Chiang Rai.

  • Day 10: Chiang Rai- Golden Triangle - Chiang Rai (B)

    After breakfast, trasnfer to Golden Triangle. You will first visit the Museum of Opium. Then we board a long tail boat to the Lao side and see from the top of the hill, marvel at the splendor of the mighty Mekong joining with the Ruak and forming the actual “Triangle” with Laos – Myanmar and Thailand. Transfer back to  Chiang Rai for your overnight, transfer to hotel, free time.

  • Day 11: Chiang Rai - Tour - Chiang Mai (B)

    Breakfast.

    In Chiang Rai, you are in the northern reaches of Thailand. A wooded, mountainous and beautiful.

    This morning, visit the city of Chiang Rai. You will start with a walk in the heart of the local market, where locals come to sell and buy their vegetables and fruit in the morning. Then you visit the Wat Phra Kaew temple and the wonderful museum Rai Mae Fah Luang.

    Visit the white temple, Wat Rong Khun. It nevertheless very recent temple is the most visited monument in the region, the work of Thai artist Chalermchai Kositpipat, started in 1997. Its creator himself announces that he will only be completed 60 to 90 years after his death. Its uniqueness, its whiteness, making it a unique temple of its kind. In wihaan a fresco mixing Buddhist codes with Matrix, Star Wars, the bombing of the Twin Towers in New York and even Kung Fu Panda stands out from the usual decorations such monuments.

    Then, transfer by road to return to Chiang Mai. Arrival in Chiang Mai, free time for relaxation.

  • Day 12: Chiang Mai - Elephant Nature Park (B, L) Join in group

    Breakfast at hotel our guide will take you to the Elephant Nature Park.

    Today you enjoy a full day at Elephant Nature Park, a house and natural sanctuary for elephants, buffaloes, dogs, cats, birds and many other rescued animals. Your tour begins with a picturesque conduction through the countryside to the Elephant Nature Park. You will be told personal stories of rescued elephants and orphans. You can see how they have become a proud and free herd of violence for the first time in their lives.

    Many people find their visit to the Elephant Nature Park rewarding and relaxing. Observe a complimentary elephants (not ride on an elephant) and other rescued animals while enjoying the natural surroundings of our sanctuary. Your visit supports our regional projects and offers an invaluable opportunity to help protect elephants.

    By late afternoon, return to Chiang Mai. Check-in at the hotel.

    After breakfast, the driver looking for you in your hotel in Chiang Mai and transfer to airport for flight to Krabi.
