Today, we will take the whole day to explore Bangkok – the city of golden temples.
The first destination is the Grand Palace. This huge architecture complex is over 2 sq. kilometers, including 3 main sites: Royal Palace, Royal Office and pagodas (Wat) built in 1770s. Nowadays, the Grand Palace is no longer home of Thailand Royal, most of national significant events takes place there.
Wat Phra Kaew is the most out-standing architecture in complex, built in 1785 when King Rama I moved the capital to Bangkok. Wat Pra Kwae is famous not only for its beauty of unique Thailand Buddhism architecture but also for the sacred jade Buddha statue. Thai people believe that the statue will bring back fortune and prosperity for the nation.
Nearby Grand Palace is Wat Pho – the oldest and biggest pagoda in Bangkok with more than 1000 Buddha statues and the huge one sit-back Buddha in gold.
This pagoda is also famous for being a birthplace of traditional Thai massage, since there is a traditional medicine school established in 1982, educating the arts of Thai massage. The Wat Pho wall-surrounded complex was divided into 2 by Soi Chetuphon running along East – West.
The Northern complex is the one including the in Gold Buddha statue and massage school mentioned above. The Southern complex, Tukgawee, is a monastery and a school.
Then, we will visit Wat Traimit. This pagoda is famous for its unique and historic beauty, and also for the huge golden Buddha statue. Thai people believe that the statue represents for prosperity and purity, as well as strength and power. The Golden Statue was defined to be built in Sukhothai period, the 13-15th century – one of the most famous periods of Thai Buddhism architecture.
After having lunch, we will board on a boat to pay a visit along the Chao Phraya River, watching the life of local people close by
On route, we stop at Wat Arun, known as the most beautiful pagoda in Bangkok not only for its location on the Chao Phraya’s riverbank but also for the different architecture from other pagodas. “Arun” means sunrise, but it is most beautiful in the sunset.
The pagoda was decorated with glass pieces and Chinese ceramic, in a complicated style. You can climb up to the top of Wat Arun to see Chao Phraya, Grand Palace and Wat Pho at the opposite side.
Return to the hotel and you are free to explore Bangkok by night.

Day 3: Bangkok - Ayutthaya by Grand Pearl Cruise (JOIN-IN, SIC) (B, L)
06:00 – 07:15 hrs. Pick up from hotel and transfer to the river city shopping complex, Siphraya, next to Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel.
Morning By Coach :
07:30 hrs. Departure from Bangkok by Grand Pearl luxury air–conditioned coach with English speaking guide.
09:00 hrs. Arrival at Ayutthaya, a World Heritage City and historic capital of Thailand. Visit Wat Maha-That, the royal monastery, served as the residence of supreme monk. Wat Phrasri-Sanphet, the largest and most important temple. Its was used as a residential palace. and Wihan Phramongkhon-Bophit, the large bronze Buddha image was originally enshrined in the open area outside the grand palace and later covered by a building called Wihan. Wat Lokaya-Sutharam The reclining Buddha is a big white Buddha with the length of 42 meters and height of 8 meters. Even though it is very old, it is still in a perfect condition with glowing face beaming with happiness and the head is supported by a lotus base platform.
Afternoon By Cruise:
13:15 hrs. Welcome aboard the Grand Pearl Cruise Liner at Wat Chong-lom Pier (Nonthaburi). Sumptuous buffet lunch with a choice of a variety of oriental and western cuisines will be served, while you may relax and enjoy the fascinating scenery on the River of Kings. The cruiser will then head towards Nontaburi, past Koh Kred, The monn community before reaching Bangkok city.
15:00 hrs. Coffee will be served while you enjoy the enchanting sights along the River banks such as the colorful Royal Barges House, Thammasart University, Siriraj hospital, The Royal Grand Palace and the graceful Temple Of Dawn, with its magnificent 79 M. spire, Wat Kallayanamitr, one of the most renowed temples.
16:00 hrs. Arrival and disembark at the River City Shopping Complex Pier. Transfer back to hotel by air-conditioned van.

Day 4: Bangkok – Damnoen Saduak Floating market- Flight to Chiang Rai (B)
After breakfast at the hotel, take just a short drive from the bustling streets of Bangkok, the high-rise urban landscape dissolves into a lush green rural idyll.
This full-day trip to Samut Songkhram Province, only an hour outside the capital, allows guests to experience the traditional charms of the Thai countryside.
The day starts with a trip to Mae Klong Railway market; a country market has sprouted up along the tracks. When a train pulls in or out of the station, the vendors quickly clear their stalls, only to set them up again moments later when the train has passed!
From here, the journey continues to very famous touristic Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Although quite touristy today, the market remains the best example to showcase how a floating market originally was like decades ago. A motorized boat ride through the labyrinth of canals offers the chance to see the old part of the floating market and local lifestyle along the canal side.
Off the boat, it is time to enjoy strolling around the colorful floating marketplace bustling with boats and vendors selling tropical fruits and other delights.
Back to Bangkok for the flight to Chiang Rai. Check-in hotel and take a rest.

Day 5: Chiang Rai- City Tour (B)
Morning after breakfast, we will visit the local market to discover the local products. After that we visit the world famous Wat Phra Kaew where the Emerald Buddha image was once enshrined. Move on to Wat Phra Singh where one of Thailand’s most beautiful Buddha images is now enshrined. Then short drive from Chiang Rai City to Black House. Baan Dam (Black House) is the unique creation of national artist, Thawan Duchanee. Part art studio, part museum, part home, Baan Dam is an eclectic mix of traditional northern Thai buildings interspersed with some outlandish modern designs. Lunch on your own account and afternoon we will take on our boat cruise on Mae Kok river from Chiang Rai to Karen village where you can watch elephants or feed them. Transfer back to Chiang Rai.
Stay overnight in Chiang Rai.

Day 6: Chiang Rai – Mae Salong – Golden Triangle- Chiang Saen (B)
After breakfast we continue the trip by heading to the northern Thailand – a wooded, mountainous and beautiful area.
This morning, you will explore the surroundings and the first road you will take is the one that leads to Mae Salong. Climb up and down the green hills, covered with tea plantations.
Here, you can enjoy a cup of tea in a traditional Chinese tea house overlooking the mountains and tea fields before continuing your way towards the Golden Triangle.
From Doi Mae Salong, we will visit two villages of ethnic minorities: the village Akah of Loyo, and the village Lisu of Ban Haygo.
Afterwards we will visit the Mae Fah Luang botanical garden. Last but not least, transfer to Golden Triangle where we take a boat trip on Mekong River to see Thailand, Burma & Laos triangle.

Day 7: Chiang Saen- Chiang Mai (B)
You are free to explore this city until be transfer to Chiang Mai. Upon arrival, check-in the hotel and the rest of day is on your own.

Day 8: Chiang Mai- Doi Inthanon National Park (B)
Pick up at your hotel at around 8:30 Am, we will head to the Doi Inthanon National Park, passing through various villages, rice fields and orchards.
Upon arrival at Inthanon Mountain, we will spend spend 2-3 hours trekking to Thailand’s highest mountain at 2565 meters above sea level. Immerse yourself in the beautiful scenery, impressive waterfalls, and lush mountain forests.
We first stop to the summit to see the great twin Royal Pagodas: Phra Mahathat Napha Methanidon and Phra Mahathat Naphaphon Bhumisiri. Each pagoda also has relics of Buddha.
We then visit Wachirathan waterffalls by a short trek along Michael’s Trail. After walk down the hill & have a short break at a local Hmong market, we will have lunch time.
In the afternoon, continue to visit Hmong and Karen hill tribe village at Ban Mae Klang Village to observe their still primitive lifestyle. En route we will pass through the farmland where you will see the coffee plantation, flowers farm and the beautiful rice terraces.
Transfer back to your hotel in Chiang Mai.

Day 9: Chiang Mai- Flight to Surat Thani – Khao Sok national park- Canoe Trip (JOIN-IN, SIC) (B) No guide in Surat Thani
After breakfast, we back to the mainland Surat Thani, checking-in the hotel near Khao Sok National Park and you can relax
Then, pay a visit to Khao Sok National Park by canoe trip . It will take quite long time to transfer. After having free lunch, we start to explore. The Park is the largest area of virgin forest in southern Thailand and is a remnant of rain forest which is older and more diverse than the Amazon rain forest.

Let the gentle currents and our expert guides navigate your way along the river by canoe—you will witness the amazing jungle, limestone cliffs, and fantastic bird & animal life as you journey down the river. The Canoe trip was initially put together by guides from the local village who share a belief in environmental preservation and it is largely the same paddle today.

Khao Sok National Park is a hiker’s paradise—remote, jungle, ridges, waterfalls, flora and fauna. Our expert guides can discuss which remote corner you would love to hike through. We will hike to a stunning rock arch which is the gateway to a fantastic swimming hole and picnic spot. There are many alternatives to suit your hiking style.

Avoid crowds, start earlier! An early-bird full-day tour brings you closer to the world-class destination “James Bond Island” and Phang-Nga Bay National Park. Explore the mangrove forest by longtail boat, canoeing through sea caves, and visit Panyee fisherman village and stunning cave temple with a huge reclining Buddha statue. Avoid the crowds, come with us, always in small groups with our boat
Itinerary:
07:00 Pick up from your hotel in Khao Lak, Head to Phang-nga Town. Arrive at the pier and get on board for sightseeing by Longtail boat. Cruise along the bay to see highlights of the national park. Get on a canoe paddled by local crews through different caves and lagoons, visit James Bond island and the fisherman village “Panyee” built on stilts.
12:00 Enjoy a delicious Thai lunch at Panyee Village. Later our guide leads you to see local life in the village.
13:00 Get to the pier, visit the “Golden Cave Temple Suwan Kuha, featuring the reclining Buddha, you also can see wild monkeys here.
15:30 Return to your hotel in Khao Lak.
