Fah Lanna Spa is a lovely place to relax and enjoy a traditional Thai massage in a tranquil setting. Arrive a little early for your appointment so you can enjoy the cup of tea they’ll have waiting for you and choose the aromatherapy oil you’d like them to use. My massage and reflexology treatments were firm but gentle. The massage therapist was skilled at what she did. It will be worthwhile to take the time to pamper yourself.

The setting is lovely and relaxing. Every time I’ve had a massage, it’s been done very well and to my liking. They ask which part you want to focus on, which is very helpful, especially when I have pain and tightness in a specific area. The workers are friendly, and you leave with a delicious mango sticky rice. Excellent experience!

The spa was hygienic, and the staff was both professional and courteous. We were able to pay with our VISA credit card, which was a (rare) bonus. We both chose the 1 hour Back & Shoulder Thai massage for 300 baht each. It was a powerful massage (they checked we were comfortable with the strength). Finally, we were served a delicious tea and given a small aroma pot to take home. During our stay in Chiang Mai, we will return for another massage!

I got more than I booked! A traditional Thai massage would be too much for me, so I opted for the back and shoulders. She also did my feet, hands, arms, and a little head – it was very nice, and she was very sensitive.

I’ve lived in Thailand for seven years and have had the best Thai massage I’ve ever had. Oasis is on the higher end of the price spectrum, so I expected a better massage, but was pleasantly surprised by how thorough and professional the masseuse was. I strongly advise you to spend the extra money (which is still very cheap in Western terms) on the best massage you can get.

This is my second visit to Makkha Spa. My first visit was to the ancient house number one. I loved it so much that I had to bring a friend who happened to be in Chiangmai with me this time to try it. This time was just as enjoyable as the first. Everything is excellent, including the staff, service, and atmosphere. We emerged with soft skin and a relaxed feeling. My friend enjoyed it as well. She also stated that she would return to Makkha Spa.
8. Green Bamboo Massage
If you don’t want to pay too much for a massage experience, Green Bamboo Massage will be your ideal choice.
In the southeastern part of the old town, you find easily the “Green Bamboo Massage” just about 10 minutes walk from the “Tha Phae Gate”. This cozy studio is located in a typical wooden Thai house whose interiors are made of sustainable, natural materials. This massage center in Chiang Mai is an eco-friendly Spa that manufactures its own organic cosmetics. Different from the other spa that we listed, it mainly offers traditional Thai massages.
Tok Sen, a rare ancient Lanna Thai Massage technique, and Bamboo or Coconut Oil Massage are among the treatments available. In 2013, the center has been approved by the Thai Ministry of Public Health.
The services start at around 130 THB for half an hour.

This was the best massage I’d ever received in Thailand. They had a true oil massage bed, which was fantastic! They give you a questionnaire before your massage asking about focus areas, areas to avoid, and preferred pressure. Several times during the massage, the massage therapist checked in to ensure that everything was going well. The place was spotless, the staff was friendly, and I wholeheartedly recommend it!

A bamboo massage was an amazing experience. The entrance appears small, but once inside, there is a large space with a relaxing treatment area that feels very private. The staff is friendly, respectful, and makes you feel at ease. They take care to keep you covered except where they are massaging, and they ask if everything is fine. I would return and recommend it!

I was dying for a spa day. Peak Spa was chosen because the brochure stated that they have many options. Free transportation, massages, jacuzzis, haircuts, pedicures, and so on.
As a result, I made a reservation.
It started in my hostel when I tried to book transportation. This was “unavailable.”
Everything was “not available” when I arrived, so I got a head, shoulders, and back massage and left after 60 minutes.
Two stars because the massage was excellent.

We came across this spa while out walking and I’m so glad we did. We requested a foot massage, and they accommodated us right away. The modern Thai decor impressed me. When you walked in, it was very neat, clean, and smelled amazing. To begin, you are given cold tea, which is amazing!
Lha, my masseuse, was probably the best I’d ever had. She was gentle and applied just the right amount of pressure. They were clearly well-trained to massage the points on your body with the appropriate pressure. I can’t wait to return for a full-body massage; I can only imagine how wonderful that massage would be for me. Amazing!!!!
