Introduction of Patty’s Secret Garden

Thailand’s Krabi province includes Phra Ae, Long Beach, Ko Lanta Yai, and Patty’s Secret Garden, a lovely garden, restaurant, bar, and guest home. There are two air conditioners and five fans in each of our six “flashpacker” rooms. Julian, Jeed, and Patty are excited to have you visit our home!

An English and Thai pair named Julian and Jeed. Our daughter Patty and Frances Eliza Hodgson Burnett’s well-known novel The Secret Garden inspired the name Patty’s Secret Garden. Enjoying Jeed’s amazing food and hospitality while listening to Julian’s soothing music in our tranquil garden setting is a treat. We want to provide a setting where you may relax, kick back, and socialize with other visitors (and us).

Culinary style of Patty’s Secret Garden

The restaurant features delicious Thai and Western Cuisine cooked by Chefs Jeed Chanthakhut-Rudd and Teerasak Seangruangsang (P’Moo). We use the freshest ingredients, organic, free-range, and locally sourced where possible. One plate of dishes start from just 90 Baht.

Thai highlights

Gai manao – Chicken breast in breadcrumbs served with crispy kale and lemon mayo – Jeed’s family’s recipe.

Larp Tod (Signnature) – deep-fried minced chicken or pork balls infused with Thai sweet basil and herbs, it’s delicious and unique to us

Gung Macam – Fresh Andaman Sea King Prawns with Tamarind Sauce
The finest Panang and Massaman Currys on the island!

Vegan and Vegetarian choices:

We serve tasty Vegan and Vegetarian alternatives to almost all of our main dishes.

Tofu Manao, Tofu or Vegetable Panang, or Massaman as well as western classics such as Veggie Burger and Vegan or Veggie Club sandwich. We understand that you may not want fish sauce or cheese!

Patty’s Yummy Burger – read the reviews! one of the best burgers you will eat with 100% Australian Beef, specially imported cheeses, P’Moo’s own secret recipe relish in a freshly baked bun, served with fries and a side salad.

Groovy music and great company plus Ice cold beers, delicious shakes and smoothies (made with fresh fruit and no sugar), yummy double-strength cocktails and long drinks (with western spirits and fresh ingredients) plus wine by the glass (you actually want to drink!) plus a credible wine list for wine by the bottle.
