Full Itinerary

  • Day 1: Bangkok arrival ( No meals )

    Warmly welcome you on arrival at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport. We will pick you up with a comfortable vehicle to the center of Bangkok to check-in your hotel, then take your time to have a rest after a long flight and lunchtime.

  • Day 2:Bangkok city tour (B)

    Today, we will take the whole day to explore Bangkok – the city of golden temples.
    The first destination is the Grand Palace. This huge architecture complex is over 2 sq. kilometers, including 3 main sites: Royal Palace, Royal Office and pagodas (Wat) built in 1770s. Nowadays, the Grand Palace is no longer home of Thailand Royal, most of national significant events takes place there. Wat Phra Kaew is the most out-standing architecture in complex, built in 1785 when King Rama I moved the capital to Bangkok. The pagoda is famous not only for its beauty of unique Thailand Buddhism architecture but also for the sacred jade Buddha statue.
    Nearby Grand Palace is Wat Pho – the oldest and biggest pagoda in Bangkok with more than 1000 Buddha statues and the huge one sit-back Buddha in gold. This pagoda is also famous for being a birthplace of traditional Thai massage, since there is a traditional medicine school established in 1982, educating the arts of Thai massage.

    After having lunch by your own account, we visit the last destination of the day: Wat Traimit. This pagoda is famous for its unique and historic beauty, and also for the huge golden Buddha statue. Thai people believe that the statue represents for prosperity and purity, as well as strength and power.
    We will board on a boat to pay a visit along the Chao Phraya River, watching the life of local people close by. On route, we stop at Wat Arun, known as the most beautiful pagoda in Bangkok not only for its location on the Chao Phraya’s riverbank but also for the different architecture from other pagodas. The pagoda was decorated with glass pieces and Chinese ceramic, in a complicated style.
    Return to the hotel and you are free to explore Bangkok by night.

  • Day 3: Bangkok – Ayutthaya- Bangkok (B)

    Having a breakfast then we will transfer to pay a visit in some sites of Ayutthaya Historical Park, situated in the old city of Ayutthaya. The city was constructed by Ramathibodi I in 1350 and was the capital of Thailand until it was destroyed by Burmese – Myanmar army in 1767. Being a ruin with many temples which characterize this handicraft type of architecture built with red bricks, the park was recognized as World’s Heritage Site by UNESCO.
    En route, we visit the Royal Summer Palace in Bang Pa-in district.
    It is a favorite resort of royal. The first palace had been built in mid-early of the 17th century, then was the ruins and be forgotten when Burman occupied Ayutthaya. It was not until the rule of King Rama IV – did the palace rebuild. King Rama IV was the first Siamese king came to Europe and was sharply impressed by the architecture there. Therefore, the whole architecture of the palace is in the way of 19th century European style.
    Wat Phu Khao Thong is a massive pagoda towering in the middle of paddy fields and can be seen from afar. There is a high golden plated chedi on the top, which makes the pagoda outstanding.
    Wat Phra Sri Sanphet was the most important temple of Ayutthaya and situated within the Ayutthaya Grand Palace grounds. The highlight of Wat Phra Sri Sanphet is 3 towers standing high together in Ceylonese style
    Vihara Phra Mongkhon Bophit is the pagoda in which the bronze Buddha statue in the attitude of subduing Mara is situated. This is one of the biggest Buddha statue in Thailand.
    Wat Lokaya Sutha is considered as the sacred place for pilgrims since it’s famous for the reclining Buddha statue, which is the statue of the Blessed Buddha intact compared to other monuments in the entire Ayutthaya ruins.
    Return to Bangkok for your overnight.

  • Day 4: Bangkok- Flight to Chiang Mai- city tour (B)

    Pick up you to the airport for your early flight to Chiang Mai. In the afternoon our half day tour begins with your day visiting Wat Chedi, the impressive ruins of a temple in the center of Chiang Mai which was built in 1411. We then continue to visit the beautiful hills surrounding Chiang Mai to visit the pristine temple of Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep. You then exercise yourself by ascending the 306 steps to the temple. However, it is very well worth the effort. A panorama view of the city and the surrounding areas can be seen from the temple grounds. Overnight in Chiang Mai.

  • Day 5:Chiang Mai- Pai (B)

    Today we will pick up in Chiang Mai and departure for the North, up to Pai. On the way, visit the market of Mae Malai, where you can experience local foods like some exotic fruits. Then you’ll stop at Pong Deuid, one of the most beautiful hot springs in the province of Chiang Mai. You will then have lunch by own in a restaurant before arriving in Pai, a small community nestled in a beautiful hill. Once we arrive in Pai, you have chance to visit three local ethnic groups including of Ban Bang Paek (Lisu tribe), Ban Mae Ping (Karen tribe) and the Lahu. Take your time to wander around the village and learn more about their lifestyle. Overnight in Pai.

  • Day 6: Pai- Mae Hong Son (B)

    Pick up at your hotel and we then embark on a cruise for sightseeing along the Pai River and have chance to observe the most beautiful scenery and simple life style. Drop in to visit Long-Necked Karen village, the women in this tribal village wear their one brass winding rings on their necks. Interact with tribal village makes them can keep and prolong their unique culture and tradition for years long. After lunch, our journey will lead you to Wat Phra That Doi Kong Mu, is located on the outskirts of Mae Hong Son town at the top of Kong Mu Hill. It is reached either by road or by a long staircase for the bravest. From the hilltop you can see entirely a beautiful nature of the town which surrounded by mountains and valleys. We then continue to visit Jong Kham and Jong Klang temples. These two temples share the same area right next to the big swamp. They both are old temples consist of beautiful Burmese style edifices which put up the holy Buddha image. Overnight in Mae Hong Son.

  • Day 7:Mae Hong Son (B)

    Morning after breakfast, we will first visit to Tham Lod Cave, home to large numbers of bats and swifts and are filled with stalactites and stalagmites. After lunch, we will visit the Lahu Hill Tribe village. Their main occupation is agriculture such as rice farming, and corn planting; raising animals for consumption besides, Lahu are still the most famous in hunter. Come to this village to watch their still primitive lifestyle. Our next village is Lisu Hill Tribe village, are very famous in sewing, embroidery, making silverware. The outstanding point of Lisu is a woman’s dress which has the most beautiful bright colors and catching the eyes of all hill tribes in Mae Hong Son province. Transfer back to your hotel for your overnight

  • Day 8: Mae Hong Son (B)

    On this third day visit, we will explore Su Tong Pae Bridge, which is the longest bamboo bridge in Thailand. We then continue to Baan Rak Thai Village. In the village, most of the population is from the south of China (Yunnan), therefore you can learn more about their cultures as well as your special Yunnan dishes. Next stop is the beautiful, calm and peaceful atmosphere in Shan village Baan Ruam Thai. Surrounded by pine forest and colourful winter flowers with year-round cold weather, this village is always attractive the tourists to visit this place all the time. You then will be dropped off at the hill tribe Hmong, which is the least hill tribe population in Mae Hong Son but living, scattered in every district. With its tradition, lifestyle this village also attracts a lots of tourists. Transfer back to your hotel for your overnight

  • Day 9: Mae Hong Son- Mae Sariang (B)

    After breakfast, you will head to the small town of Mae Sariang. The villages of the authentic mountain tribes scattered all around Mae Sariang constitute a real cultural asset for the region. Several villages of Karen and Lawa are worth visiting; if time permits, you can discover some of them. These villages are generally badly or not marked out; they can be difficult to find (your guide can show you the way to follow). A visit to these villages will be a total cultural immersion and an introduction to local life.
    Lunch on the way by your own account.
    You will stop at Mae La Noi to visit the Kaew Komol cave, with its vertical hole of 30 meters. Their access routes consist of a 120-meter staircase and, in order to preserve the natural character, visitors admire the beauty of the walls from a small platform. They are not allowed to go far inside the cavity as this can be dangerous. It is considered to be the most beautiful in the country and its equivalent is only found in Australia and China. Little anecdote, the Queen of Thailand went to what was known as the “Mae La Noi Cave” (original name in English), at the beginning of this millennium. She proposed that it be called “Kaew Komol Cave”, and each of its five small sub-caves has also been renamed.
    You will arrive at Mae Sariang in the afternoon. Free time for relaxation. Overnight in Mae Sariang.

  • Day 10: Mae Sariang – Chiang Mai (B)

    After breakfast, you can visit the two most beautiful temples in the city, Wat Si Bunruang and Wat Jong Sun, built in the 19th century, in Burmese style. The market, filled with colors and smells is to be surveyed. Then you will visit the Mae Sariang Museum, a wooden building with traditional Thai architecture. The museum is a center for the display and sale of “One Tambol One Product” (OTOP) and includes presentations on the lifestyle of indigenous peoples, including Lua, Thai Yai, Karen, Lawa and Hmong with the local history
    Free lunch at the local restaurant.
    In the afternoon, return to Chiang Mai via Hod to explore Ob Luang National ParkThis fascinating site is made up of magnificent natural elements as well as mysterious landscapes. Under a bridge connecting the two sides of a narrow and steep gorge, flows a zigzag river, framed by teak forests and mountains. During the rainy season, the rapids crash on the rocks and you can take spectacular photos from the ravine, showing the strength of nature. Eroded by the powerful currents of the river, the rocks and cliffs have become a canyon with strange formations. The water must make its way over the stone blocks which obstruct its course, offering a magnificent view.

  • Day 11: Chiang Mai – Flight to Phuket – Koh Yao Noi (B)- Pick up in Koh Yao Noi by join-in hotel transfer

    Transfer to the airport for your flight from Chiang Mai to Phuket (Estimate Flight by Thai Asia: FD 3160, CNX – HKT, 11h25 – 13h25).

    Upon arrival, pick up at the Phuket airport to transfer to pier to take spead boat (Schedule: depart before 16h30) transfer to Koh Yao Noi a relaxed, eco-minded island with far less tourism than the bustle of Phuket or the thumping party scene of Koh Phi Phi. Island captures a by-gone era where life flows at its own pace.
    Check-in the hotel. The rest of day is on your own. Overnight in Koh Yao Noi
