• Visit the lively market where you earn more knowledge about the local life of Mae Taeng
• Cool off in the majestic waterfall and go down a gentle river on a bamboo raft.
• Visit Elephant PooPooPaper Park
• Encounter local hill tribe people and get a glimpse of their lifestyle.
• Learn from your professional Thai guide about flora & fauna, local customs and culture.
• Overnight stay in a traditional wooden house with a village family
Breakfast is served at the hotel. After we go to a local market to see how Thai traders trade. We then continue to drive to a waterfall where you can rest and swim before reaching our lunch spot, a local hot spring.
From here we start for 2 hours trekking to Karen village where you will spend your night. You will have the opportunity to share a special moment with locals and learn their lifestyle during a night at the inhabitant.
Morning we have an early breakfast, and enjoy your 3 hour trek through local rainforests. After lunch, resume a short trek to a Lahu village which is closed to Mae Taeng elephant camp by the river.
Spend your time on the river in Mae Taeng by several activities such as swimming, fishing, relaxing … Or an optional tour to elephant camp for you also is available.
Wake up and breakfast at camp in the jungle before we start an hour bamboo rafting down the river to a Shan Tribal village.
We then continue for 3 hours trek to Shan village where you will spend your night. The remaining time would be spent at your own pleasure and this is your great chance to get to know more the local lifestyle.
After breakfast we go white water rafting on Mae Taeng river rapids. In March, April, and May this activity will be substituted with canoeing.
After lunch, you will be drive for 2 hours to the Elephant PooPooPaper Park and where you will discover an unusual way to make paper by recycling elephant droppings.
Return to Chiang Mai for your overnight and end of our service.
