  • Day 1: Siem Reap arrival

    Arrival at Siem Reap International Airport, collect your luggage process through custom. Your private tour guide and driver will be waiting for you outside the baggage claim/ custom area to transfer you in a private vehicle to the hotel for check-in.

  • Day 2: Angkor Wat temples (B)

    In the morning, visit the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor: Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Angkor Wat’s five towers symbolize Meru’s five peaks – the enclosed wall represents the mountains at the edge of the world and the surrounding moat, the ocean beyond. Lunch in the local restaurant. Visit the South Gate, the ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th century), Bayon Temple (unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara), the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Sunset at Angkor Wat. Overnight in Siem Reap.

  • Day 3: Siem Reap -Banteay Srei temple (B)

    Morning, transfer to Banteay Srei temple (10th c), regarded as the jewel in the crown of Classical Khmer Art. Continue to Ta Prohm, one of the area’s most beautiful temples. Ta Prohm has been relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery. Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon visit the Roluos Group. The monuments of Roluos, which served as the capital of Indravarman I (reigned 877-89), are among the earliest large, permanent temples built by the Khmers and mark the beginning of Khmer classical art. Preah Ko erected by Indravarman I in the late 9th century dedicated by the King to his ancestors in 880. Bakong, the largest and most interesting of the Roluos group temples, with his active Buddhist monastery just to the north of the east entrance. Lolei ,built on an islet in the center of a large reservoir (now rice fields) by Yasovarman I, the founder to the first city at Angkor. Overnight in Siem Reap.

  • Day 4: Siem Reap- Tonle Sap Lake- Flight to Bangkok (B)

    After breakfast, start your day with a short drive to visit Kampong Phluk floating village, a permanent settlement on the Tonle Sap Lake with a small land-based village attached to it. Its remarkable mangrove forest is unique in the Siem Reap area. You will board a local boat and cruise the waterways observing the authentic and diverse lifestyle of the local floating community. Once you arrive at the open lake, jump onto the floating restaurant where you will watch the sunset over the great lake.

    Transfer to the airport for your international flight to Bangkok. Upon arrival pick up and transfer you to your hotel overnight. 

    Bangkok has been Thailand’s dominant city since the eighteenth century. Established as the capital in 1767 after the fall of the ancient city of Ayutthaya, Bangkok is located on one of southeastern Asia’s most important rivers, the Chao Phraya. In the 1980s and 1990s, Bangkok underwent rapid modernization, growing to approximately ten million people, making this the only major city in a country of villages and small towns. Bangkok’s ancient palaces and Buddhist temples contrast with high rises and traffic jams.

    Day 5: Bangkok city tour – Boat trip in Chao Phraya (B)

    After breakfast, pick up at your hotel, then the fragrant and colorful Flower Market, Pakklong Talad. This is a wholesale flower market of Bangkok where there are various kinds of mainly fresh flowers with different colors of orchids, roses, daisies and lotus, etc. The kaleidoscope of colors and pungent odor of flowers provide an exotic sensory stimulation. 

    Then drive to visit the Grand Palace and Emerald Buddha Temple – Wat Phra Kaew. Before entering the main gate to the temple of the Emerald Buddha, stop by the Royal Regalia Museum to see the beauty of decorative jewelry, which used to be ornaments of the royal officers and consorts. Walk in to enjoy the beauty of the temple of The Emerald Buddha. Visit the most sacred Buddha statue of Thailand, held by all Thais as also the symbol of national independence and enjoy the stunning buildings which you cannot miss taking photos of, every time you turn around. Get into the second court where the major imposing buildings are located. Visit the Amarin There Winitchai Throne Hall – originally a Hall of Justice but used today for coronation ceremonies and the Dusit Maha Prasat Palace initially served as a venue for royal audiences and later as Royal Funerary Hall.  Before lunch time, visit Reclining Buddha temple or Wat Pho, the oldest and biggest temple with the largest number of pagodas (95 in all) in the city. Also, it was the first open university of Thailand which offered courses in several branches of knowledge like literature, astrology, medicine and massage. It’s well known for its huge Reclining Buddha, 46 m. long and 15 m. high.

    In the afternoon, take a long-tailed boat ride along the Chao Phraya River to see Thai lifestyle, contrast between luxurious condominiums and ruined houses along both sides of the canal. Pass the Grand Palace. Disembark at Wat Arun – the temple of Dawn to visit the tallest prang in Thailand. It was built in the concept of Mount Meru, the resident of God located on the center of the Universe. Then transfer to the hotel.

  • Day 6: Bangkok - Railway Market – Damnoen Saduak Floating Market (B)

    Early in the morning, after having breakfast, we pay a visit to Maeklong Railway Market – a local market that has grown up along the rail tracks. When a train pulls in or out of the station, the sellers quickly clear their stalls, and set them up again when the train has passed. We continued on our way to the Damnoen Saduak Floating market. Arriving at the market, you can see the vendors who wear traditional farmer dresses and hats bring local Thai foods, fruits and products to sell on rowing boats. You should not miss the opportunity to experience sitting and giving them a try on one of these boats on the canal. You are free to explore around the market, take photos/videos or even hire a paddling boat to breathe the once-in-a-lifetime atmosphere here.  

    We then take a boat ride out of the floating market and journey along the winding canals to see remote villages, gardens and plantations. 

    Arrive at a jetty pier where you board on the vehicle to transfer you to your hotel.

    Day 7: Bangkok- Ayutthaya- Flight to Chiang Rai (B)

    After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, you will be collected by the tour guide and set out for an excursion to Ayutthaya featuring a selection of historical temples and ruins. The delicate candy floss roti awaits you when you have a stop at the historical park. A local house invites your visit to appreciate the production of the exquisite handicrafts. A local market visit follows.

    After enjoying lunch at a local restaurant, head to the elegant Bang Pa-In Summer Palace with mixed architectural design – Thai, Chinese and European. Dates back to the seventeenth century, the palace complex was used as the summer dwelling for the Kings of Thailand and also for state occasions. Drive to visit Wat Niwet Thammaprawat, one of the most characteristic Buddhist temples with its significant Gothic style architecture and brilliant glass windows. 

    Transfer to Bangkok for flight to Chiang Rai 

    On arrival, meet our tour guide in Chiang rai and transfer to Chiang rai hotel. 

    Chiang Rai is the capital of Chiang Rai province, in Northern Thailand founded in 1262 by King Meng Rai and was the first capital of Lanna Thai (Kingdom of a Million Rice fields). The province contains Thailand’s northernmost point at Mae Sai which is well known for its crisp mountain scenery, and hill tribes. North Chiang Rai falls within the main commercial center of the region known as the Golden Triangle, the area where the borders of Thailand, Myanmar and Laos converge that is an excellent base for exploring the region.

  • Day 8: Chiang Rai – Long neck village – Doi Mae Salong - Golden Triangle (B)

    Travel north of Chiang Rai to Mae Chan, visit the Long Neck Tribe Village; the woman wears several brass rings around their long, slender necks. A woman generally has about twenty or more rings around her neck. They originated from Shan state, The Union of Myanmar.

    Then head to Mae Salong. Climb up and down the green hills, covered with tea plantations. You will taste the delicious tea produced by one of the many plantations of the region, bef. From Doi Mae Salong, you will visit two villages of ethnic minorities: the village Akah of Loyo, and the village Lisu of Ban Hanygo

    Drive to visit the world-famous Golden Triangle, where the borders of three countries meet – Thailand, Laos and Myanmar. Then, visit the House of Opium – insightful.

    Day 9: Chiang Rai - Chiang Mai (B)

    After breakfast, drive to Chiang Mai. The stop at Wat Rong Khun or White temple was designed and built by famous artist Chaloemchai Khositphiphat. A white ordination hall – Phra Ubosot – is decorated with silver glittering pieces of mirrors. There are large mural paintings of the Lord Buddha in different gestures. Upon arrival in Chiang Mai check in at the hotel.

    Chiang Mai, meaning a new city, was founded in 1296 by King Mengrai as the capital of the first independent Thai state, Lanna Thai (Kingdom of One Million Rice Fields). It became the cultural and religious center of the northern Tai, those who had migrated from southern China to dwell in Thailand, and remained so throughout the turbulent period of recurring Burmese attacks. The Burmese finally captured Chiang Mai in 1556 and occupied it until King Taksin retook the city in 1775, driving the Burmese forces back to near the present border. Burmese influence on religion, architecture, language, cuisine, and culture, however, remains strong.

    After that transfer to visit San Kamphaeng District of Chiang Mai is the heart of the handicraft industry. Many of Thailand’s major producers are located here and you’ll find all of the traditional crafts of the old days and the new in the shops along the Chiang Mai – Sankampaeng Road. 

    This afternoon activity will give you the opportunity to see quality local authentic artisan made products. Elaborate teak-wood carvings, intricate silverware, lustrous black lacquer ware, high-fired ceramics, famous Thai silk and cotton being woven the ancient traditional way on rustic wooden looms, paper-making and silk parasols in a rainbow hue of dazzling colors.  Watch skilled artists deftly and swiftly paint art-work on parasols. It’s absolutely amazing.

    Day 10: Chiang Mai – City tour (B)

    After breakfast, start with a drive through different parts of the city, passing old city walls, gates and city moat, markets, residential areas, foreign consulates, government buildings and Tapae, Chiang Mai’s main street. Drive up Doi (Mount) Suthep to visit Wat Phrathad Doi Suthep built in 1383 on Doi Suthep (3500 feet above sea – level), is the symbol of Chiang Mai. It is the most sacred temple in the city and contains the holy relic of the Lord Buddha which is enshrined in the magnificent golden pagoda with a challenging flight of over 300 steps, flanked by enormous mythological Nagas. A panoramic view of the city and the surrounding countryside can be seen from the temple grounds.

    In the afternoon, continue visiting the Wat Suan Dok which was built by King Keu Na of Lanna for a revered priest visiting from Sukhothai as a place for the monk to spend the rains retreat. The principal Buddha statue is a huge cast image named Phra Chao Kao Tu. Here, you will have a talk with the monk who will explain about the Buddhism, Lord Buddha, Buddhist way of life and how to do meditation. The Monk Chat Session gives an opportunity to have an interactive communication with Thai monks via talking informally about Buddhism and Thai Culture as well as general topics about Thai ways of living are discussed at the session. Return to your hotel for refreshment. Then visit Wat Phra Singh, founded in the 14th century to enshrine the ashes of King Kam Fu has the most complete version of Lanna chapel and is home to Phra Buddha Singh, considered Chiang Mai’s most important and sacred Buddha image.

  • Day 11: Chiang Mai - Elephant Jungle Sanctuary (B, L) (join-in group)

    08:00-08:30 AM Pick up from your hotel or accommodation

    08:30 Drive approximately 1.5 hours South of Chiang Mai through rolling hills, forest, and local farming areas.

    10:30 Arrive at the Sanctuary. Meet your guide and walk for 10-15 minutes through the Jungle to the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary. Change into traditional Karen clothing. Enjoy an introductory lesson about elephant anatomy, history, and behavior.

    11:00 Meet the elephants. Feed, interact, and play with the elephants in a natural environment as you learn about their behavior and history. Take photos with the elephants.

    12:00 Enjoy a lunch of traditional Thai food and fresh fruit.

    13:00 Learn how to make herbal medicine balls, feed the Elephants and then walk with the elephants to the river. Bathe and brush the elephants.

    14:00 Join the elephants for a therapeutic mud spa. Swim in the river and take photos with the elephants.

    15:00 Change clothes and say goodbye to the elephants

    15:30 Leave the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary and drive approximately 1.5 hours to Chiang Mai.

    You are to be taken via a 4.5-hour drive to Khao Sok National Park with our driver. En route, you are to make a stop at a beautiful viewpoint in an area called Khao Lak, at a tsunami memorial site and at a monkey cave temple. 

    Arrive at the hotel, check-in and free time on your leisure.

    As the sun sets over Khao Sok the jungle symphony begins and the jungle comes alive. There is no better time for a Night Safari! Let our expert guides navigate you through a 2-hour hike and introduce you to the amazing animals that inhabit the jungle. From bats to insects, frogs, to deer, and even the elusive jungle cat.     08:30 Meet in the reception area of Our Jungle Camp Eco Resort or get picked up in Khao Sok Town.

    09:30 Local Market Visit, and arrival at Rachabrapa Dam

    10:00 – 12:30 Explore the lake by local long-tail boat, taking in the majestic scenery of striking white limestone cliffs and the Guilin of Thailand, surrounded by emerald green waters.

    12:30 – 14:00 Lunch break at a Raft House, 3 dish set lunch, leisure time for swimming and canoeing.

    14:00 – 16:00 Jungle Activity depending on the Guide, either Coral Cave or Nam Talu Cave (additional Sanctuary Fee of 200 THB pp.) Hike or View Point Visit. Alternatively, visitors can remain at the raft house at their own leisure.

    16:00 – 17:30 Return back to Cheow Lan Lake Pier and arrive back at Our Jungle Camp 45 min Later.

  • Day 17: Khao Sok – Krabi 2 hours drive - City tour (B)

    Travel to Krabi with our driver for 3 hours.

    Krabi a province on southern Thailand’s Andaman coast is an almost otherworldly region of labyrinthine archipelagos where islands seem to erupt vertically out of the sea and secluded beaches are only accessible by colorfully adorned long tail boats. Krabi s myriad of bays and coves have sheltered pirates merchants and sea gypsies for thousands of years and archaeological evidence indicates that Krabi was originally inhabited as early as 25000-35000 years ago.

    Then, you will reach the Crystal Pool (Sra Morakot) where the water runs from the top of the Limestone Mountain. Then, it’s time for swimming or enjoying the scenery of the hidden swimming which is surrounded by the forest. Wearing sandal shoes is recommended for this trip. 

    Next, you’ll have lunch with fruits and drinks. After lunch, you’ll continue to Wat Tham Suea or Tiger Cave Temple. Inside of this cave, tiger features were printed and captured in stone, and it’s in the middle of lush forest with enormous, ancient trees as well as serving as a temple. This site is also known as a significant archaeological site as many artifacts have been found on the permits, including tools, pottery and mold for the Buddha’s footprint.

    08.00 am. Transfer service from your hotel in Krabi Town, Klong Muang Beach, Tub Keak Beach Area.

    09.00 am. Ready to travel by speed boat from Nopparat Thara to Phi Phi Islands which are clear waters, magnificent limestone mountains, are part of Nopparat Thara National park. Phi Phi Islands consists of 2 big islands, Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Leh.

    The first place you will go to is Monkey Bay. It is an island that is not big. There is a white beach with the background of the lush greenery of the tree on the steep hills. It is the home of monkeys and under the water of Monkey bay there are many coral reefs and you can take a walk on the beach and feed the monkeys on the island. You can also swim, snorkel, admire the beauty of the coral reef under the sea and admire the fish that are swimming together.

    After that we will depart to Maya Bay Which is a top place ranked the most beautiful in the world. Maya Bay is a large bay surrounded by steep cliffs. On the island there are large beaches that are white, clean, and have a fine texture. It was also a filming location for the famous Hollywood movie “The Beach” starring Leonardo DiCaprio as the hero. The sea at Maya Bay is crystal clear. You can dive to see the beauty of the water under the sea. As well as taking a photo with the Maya Bay backdrop and the sunlight can only hit the sea from the front. Will give you a very beautiful photo to remember.

    Continuing to Pileh Lagoon Bay is another highlight of Phi Phi Islands. It is a large cove surrounded by steep Rocky Mountains as well as a variety of plants. Surrounded to increase the beauty of the Rocky Mountains which has a one-way entrance and a 90 degree with the hill facing the Andaman Sea When cruising into the lagoon, you will be exposed to the crystal clear, emerald green water that you can see under the water, with large and small fish swimming along the way. Looking into it is like a large hall. It is surrounded by the beauty of nature Can swim and dive to see the beautiful scenery under the sea.

    Then continue toLoh Samah Bay, a small cove that has beautiful coral reefs. If you snorkel here, you will be able to see a wide variety of soft corals. It is also able to find a wide variety of biodiversity such as anemones, fish species and coral reefs.

    Next, we will take a speedboat cruise through the Viking Cave called Viking Cave because the cave is painted with colored sailboats. Also, this cave is Concession Area Of 100% genuine Scotch’s nest, which each year can only collect three bird’s nests per year Inside the cave, in addition to having a swallow’s nest There are still beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. Can be seen from the cave entrance

    Next place we will go to rest for a delicious Lunch meal at Phi Phi Don or Ton Sai Bay, which is the center with a marina. Accommodation and restaurants. Another shady with the shadow of many trees. There are also long white tables on the beach to serve tourists. as you can lie down and relax and admire the beauty of the sandy beach and feel the atmosphere of the quiet sea. Or swimming in clear water on the island to see the beauty of the sea, and swimming with many small and large fish.

    The last place for visiting is located in the northern part of Phi Phi Don is Bamboo Island, an island towering in the middle of the sea. There are pure white beaches and the atmosphere is quiet with a gentle breeze. The sound of waves crashing gently on the beach makes you feel relaxed and comfortable. There is a clear blue sea as under the water there is a Beautiful coral reef and ready for you to explore the world under the Andaman Sea.

    15.00 pm: Time to leave from Bamboo Islands to travel back to the pier and transfer back to your hotel for rest.

    Day 19: Krabi – Ao Nang – Archipelago dive trip ((join-in) B, L)

    The dive sites around Ao Nang, Krabi are home to some of the best and most varied macro-life you can find in Thailand. Even though they are relatively close to the Phi Phi Islands they are very different. There are several species of Seahorse, Pipe Fish and many Nudibranchs. Also you may see Mantis Shrimps, Coral Whip Gobie’s, RazorFish, Porcelain Crabs and Durban Dancing Shrimp to name a few.

    It’s not only the macro-life you’ll love at these dive sites. Your Kon-Tiki Divemaster will also try to find Bamboo sharks, as they can be spotted sometimes.

You might go swimming, diving, snorkeling, enjoy seafood or just relax on the beach.
