Full Itinerary

  • Day 1: Hanoi arrival

    You will be welcomed by our guide by arrival at Noi Bai Airport. We transfer you with a comfortable vehicle to the city center of Hanoi to check-in your hotel. This day is scheduled to take some rest after your long flight. You have the opportunity to get some first impressions of the city by yourself and of course our tour guide is always available at your request. Overnight at the hotel in Hanoi

  • Day 2: Hanoi city tour (B)

    After having breakfast, meet your guide and continue exploring Hanoi. Start with the mausoleum of the nation’s founder Ho Chi Minh and the Presidential Palace, followed by the serene One Pillar Pagoda and the Temple of Literature known as the site of Vietnam’s first university and a shrine for Confucian worship, founded in the year 1066. Next, visit the Hoa Lo Prison Museum, ironically nicknamed “the Hanoi Hilton.” Built by the French colonists and used as house for Vietnamese political prisoners, it was later used to keep captured American POWs during the war. Then continue to the Huu Tiep neighborhood to see an American B-52 that was shot down during the Christmas bombing of Hanoi in 1968. Afternoon, have a little leisure time to back your hotel, then tour around the city’s Old Quarter by a bicycle rickshaw, called a cyclo. In this part of town, each colorful street is devoted to a particular craft or ware. You will be pedaled amongst the quaint French buildings along Shoe Street, Silk Street and Banner Street (to name just a few), ending at the historic Hoan Kiem Lake – the social center of Hanoi. In the late afternoon, you will enjoy the Water Puppet Performance. Traditional content of these shows relates to daily life of Vietnamese farmers, communal entertainment or historical legends. The artists – men and women – stand waist-deep in the water to manipulate the puppets, making them move around, talk and laugh and even dance on the surface of the water.     Day 3: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay (B, L, D)

    Breakfast at the hotel and then start a 3-hour driving through the Red River Delta to Ha Long City. Comfort stop en route for photos and coffee before arriving to Ha Long City. We then transfer to a refurbished wooden sailing junk for a cruise through the limestone cliffs and emerald waters of Ha Long Bay to enjoy a fantastic view of the picturesque scenery blending with the sky and some 3,000 limestone this World Heritage Site. While being on board, we will be served a sumptuous fresh, local seafood lunch followed by swimming and exploring some of the limestone caves in this area. Try the feeling of witnessing the sunset on boat is really great. Dinner on board. The captain then will anchor for the night nearby a remote island.  In the evening, there is the option for night fishing or just sit out on the deck and relax under the stars. Overnight on Junk.

    Waking up surrounded by the tranquil beauty of the bay, we have time for an early morning dip with joys and emotions for watching sunrise on sea followed by breakfast. The cruise continues to move around the bay for us to discover more secluded areas, we then take kayaking and swimming in the stunning bay. The junk will be near us at all times serving as a backup vessel for those that require it. At around midday we will return to the main harbor before transferring to our awaiting vehicle for a 3-hour journey to to Noi Bai airport for flight to Saigon.     Day 5: Saigon- Cao Dai Temples - Cu Chi Tunnels (B)

    The head quarter of Cao Dai sect is located in Tay Ninh. This religion was founded in 1923 and now numbers over 2 million members. After breakfast we travel by roads to Tay Ninh to see the ornate temple of Cao Dai and attend the fantastic mid-day service when the followers fill the hall wearing colored robes, a symbol of the curious combination of the Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism. Afterwards we continue to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, which were an incredible underground network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence. The tunnels contained hospitals, plus accommodation and schools, and were used as a military base for the Vietcong in the American war. Overnight at the hotel in HCM city.

    Day 6: Saigon – My Tho – Saigon After Dark tour by Vespa (B)

    Heading out of the town, we travel by roads to the Mekong Delta, Vietnam’s largest rice bowl. On arrival My Tho we embark on a boat navigating around the intricate small canals in the delta region, which is a great way to observe the local lifestyle close-up and catch a view dotted by many islands. The exciting excursion will pass the lush green vegetation before arriving at the famous Unicorn Island. Here we have opportunities to stroll around an orchard, taste many seasonal fruits and enjoy wonderful traditional music. The next stop of our trip is Ben Tre Province to visit some fascinating local industries. After feasting on a huge lunch, we return to Ho Chi Minh

    Day 8: Bangkok city tour (B)

    After breakfast, we visit the Grand Royal Palace dedicated at the ceremony of the Thai royal family. It is the most sacred, respected and majestic place in Bangkok. The Grand Palace, or the Royal Palace, is a complex comprising of many historical monuments built for centuries. For the most, they are temples and official buildings stillused today.

    In the same compound is the magnificent Wat Phra Kaew which is known for the Emerald Bouddha Statue.

    We continue to visit Wat Pho, a giant house of the Buddha layer. The Wat Pho is one of the largest and oldest Buddhist temples in Bangkok. It is located on the eastern bank of the Chao Phraya River, south of the Grand Palace. The symbol of the temple is the statue reputed “Reclining Buddha”. This statue represents Buddha on his deathbed. It is 45 meters long and 15 meters high. His feet are inlaid with mother-of-pearl.
    Sightseeing will continue at Wat Traimit, the Temple of the Golden Buddha – the temple is famous for its 900-year-old five-and-a-half-ton solid gold image.
    After having lunch (on your own charge), embark on a long tail boat for the excursion along the Chao Phraya River and many canals lively interiors of the Thonburi shoreline that offer views fantastic local life nearby. You will have the opportunity nibbling, buying trinkets or using the toilets stops on the way. Along the way, we stop at Wat Arun, the temple of dawn.

  • Day 9: Bangkok – MaeKlong Railway - Damnoen Saduak Floating Market – Bangkok (B)

    Early in the morning, after having breakfast, we pay a visit to Meaklong Railway Market – a local market has grown up along the rail tracks. When a train pulls in or out of the station, the sellers quickly clear their stalls, and set them up again when the train has passed. We continue our way to Damnoen Saduak Floating market. Arrival at the market, you can see the vendors who wear traditional farmer dresses and hats bring local Thai foods, fruits and products to sell on rowing boats. You should not miss the opportunity to experience sitting and giving them a try on one of these boats on the canal. You are free to explore around the market, take photos/videos or even hire a paddling boat to breathe the once-in-a-lifetime atmosphere here.  

    We then take a boat ride out of the floating market and journey along the winding canals to see remote villages, gardens and plantations. 

    Arrive at a jetty pier where you board on the vehicle and return to Bangkok.

  • Day 10: Bangkok – Ayutthaya – Night train to Chiang Mai (B)

    Having a breakfast and at 8h30, we will transfer to pay a visit in some sites of Ayutthaya Historical Park, situated in the old city of Ayutthaya. The city was constructed by Ramathibodi I in 1350 and was the capital of Thailand until it was destroyed by Burmese – Myanmar army in 1767. Being a ruin with many temples which characterize this handicraft type of architecture built with red bricks, the park was recognized as World’s Heritage Site by UNESCO.

    –     Wat Phu Khao Thong is a massive pagoda towering in the middle of paddy fields and can be seen from afar. Built by King Ramesuan in 1395, the pagoda is unique with the combination of 2 architectural styles: Thai – style and Mon – style. There is a high golden plated chedi on the top, which makes the pagoda outstanding.

    –     Wat Phra Sri Sanphet was the most important temple of Ayutthaya and situated within the Ayutthaya Grand Palace grounds. It served as a model for the Temple of the Emerald Buddha in Bangkok. The highlight of Wat Phra Sri Sanphet is 3 towers standing high together in Ceylonese style, has the same architecture with Wat Phra Kaew in Bangkok.

    –     Vihara Phra Mongkhon Bophit is the pagoda in which the bronze Buddha statue in the attitude of subduing Mara is situated. This is one of the biggest Buddha statue in Thailand. It was considered to be built during the Ayuttaya period of King Srongta, who transferred the location from the east side to the west and has been the location since then. After that he ordered to build a dome on top.

    –  Wat Lokaya Sutha is considered as the sacred place for pilgrims since it’s famous for the reclining Buddha statue, which is the statue of the Blessed Buddha intact compared to other monuments in the entire Ayutthaya ruins. It is also the most important relics in most of those in Wat Lokaya Sutha. Thai people believe that if they paste the golden leaf onto Buddha statues, they will be protected by Buddha.

    Heading back to Bangkok. En route, we visit the Royal Summer Palace in Bang Pa-in district.

    Situated about 60 km northern away from Bangkok, this palace is called Royal Summer Palace since it is a favorite resort of royal. The first palace had been built in mid-early of the 17th century, then was the ruins and be forgotten when Burman occupied Ayutthaya. It was not until the rule of King Rama IV – did the palace rebuild. King Rama IV was the first Siamese king came to Europe and was sharply impressed by the architecture there. Therefore, the whole architecture of the palace is in the way of 19th century European style.

    Return to Bangkok and then transfer to the railway station for your overnight train to Chiang Mai

    Day 11: Chiang Mai Full Day City Tour – Doi Suthep (B)

    The morning will be mainly devoted to visit the old city with a stop at the ancient wall, the moat and a door of the old city. You will see more beautiful temples in Chiang Mai: Wat Prah Singh Temple, Wat Phan Tao temple and the temple Wat Chedi Luang. Then you will stroll along streets lined with traditional houses, where you make a rickshaw ride. From there, you’ll at large Central Market Warorot.
    Lunch at local restaurant (on your own).
    Afternoon, visit Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, the most famous pagoda Chiang Mai. It is reached after climbing a staircase of 290 steps with ramps represent two giant naga. From the square, you can admire the panorama of the whole Chiang Mai Valley.
    Then visit craft villages: lacquer factories, silk weaving, manufacture of umbrellas, wood carvings and goldsmith work.
    Then transfer back to the hotel.

    Morning after breakfast, we drive to Elephant Jungle Sanctuary to visit as the program below:
    Itinerary:
    08:00 – 08:30 : Pick up from your hotel or accommodation.
    08:30 : Drive approximately 1.5 hours South of Chiang Mai through rolling hills, forest, and local farming areas.
    10:30 : Arrive at the Sanctuary. Meet your guide and walk for 10-15 minutes through the Jungle to the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary. Change into traditional Karen clothing. Enjoy an introductory lesson about elephant anatomy, history, and behavior.
    11:00 : Meet the elephants. Feed, interact, and play with the elephants in a natural environment as you learn about their behavior and history. Take photos with the elephants.
    12:00 : Enjoy a lunch of traditional Thai food and fresh fruit.
    13:00 : Learn how to make herbal medicine balls, feed the Elephants and then walk with the elephants to the river. Bathe and brush the elephants.
    14:00 : Join the elephants for a therapeutic mud spa. Swim in the river and take photos with the elephants.
    15:00 : Change clothes and say good bye to the elephants.

    09.00 am. Ready to travel by speed boat from Nopparat Thara to Phi Phi Islands which is clear waters, magnificent limestone mountains, are part of Nopparat Thara National park. Phi Phi Islands it consists of 2 big islands, Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Leh.
    The first place you will go to is Monkey Bay. It is an island that not big. There is a white beach with the background of the lush greenery of the tree on the steep hills. Which is the home of monkeys and under the water of Monkey bay there are many coral reefs and you can take a walk on the beach and feeding the monkeys on the island. You can also swim, snorkel, admire the beauty of the coral reef under the sea and admire the fish that are having swimming together.
    After that will depart to Maya Bay Which is a top place ranked the most beautiful in the world as well Maya Bay is a large bay surrounded by steep cliffs. On the island there are large beaches that are white, clean, fine texture. It was also a filming location for the famous Hollywood movie “The Beach” starring Leonardo DiCaprio as the hero. The sea at Maya Bay is crystal clear. You can dive to see the beauty of the water under the sea. As well as taking a photo with the Maya Bay backdrop and the sunlight can only hit the sea from the front. Will give you a very beautiful photo for memorable.
    Continue to Pileh Lagoon Bay is another highlight of Phi Phi Islands It is a large cove surrounded by steep Rocky Mountains as well as a variety of plants. Surrounded to increase the beauty of the Rocky Mountains which has a one-way entrance and a 90 degree with the hill facing the Andaman Sea When cruising into the lagoon, you will be exposed to the crystal clear, emerald green water that you can see under the water, with large and small fish swimming along the way.     Day 15: Krabi - Emerald Pool – Hot spring waterfall – Tiger Cave Temple (B) Join tour

    Start your journey with the Emerald Pool Krabi, locally known as Sra Morakot. Walk along the rainforest trail and cool off the heat of Krabi with a swim in this freshwater pool inside the Khao Phra Bang Khram Nature Reserve. Its green hue is a result of an abundance of minerals from the surroundings limestone hills.

    Next, visit Hot Spring Waterfall Krabi natural hot spring and its hot stream waterfall, Klong Thom Waterfall, located in the jungle 40km south of Krabi Town. Though the falls itself is just a cascade tumbling gently but a few meters, it is unique in that the spring water that feeds it bubbles up from the earth at temperature of 40ิ Celsius.
