Koh Lanta

Koh Lanta Island Beach_The best destination to visit

Thailand’s island of Koh Lanta is situated in the middle of the stunning Phi Phi island and the mainland in the Andaman Sea. Still, Koh Lanta remains an amazing beach destination for customers who desire to spend time relaxing and refreshing.

History

With nine gorgeous sand beaches and a varied landscape that includes mangroves, waterfalls, and forested hills, Koh Lanta Yai is 6 km wide and more than 30 km long.

The office of the Mu Koh Lanta national park and the lighthouse on the southern tip are both accessible by a paved road that runs parallel to the shoreline from the north to the south of the island.

The islands of Koh Ngai, Koh Kradan, and Koh Muk are adjacent to Koh Lanta Yai and all provide equivalently pristine views, snorkeling, and even more privacy.

Aow Nui, Tanod Cape Viewpoint, Hat Kor Kwang, Hat Khlong Dawn, Hat Phra Ae, Tanod Cape, Baan Sriraya, and Sea Gypsy House (Baan Sangka U) are just a few of the intriguing locations to visit.

Koh Lanta still preserves its magnificence and wealth of seashores, pure sea, and the fascinating underwater world due to its remoteness from the mainland. Hin Muang-Hin Daeang, Koh Rok, and Koh Ha Yai are lovely diving destinations where you may encounter vibrant coral reefs and fish. Also available are diving excursions to the four Trang province islands of Koh Ngai, Koh Chaek, Koh Kradan, and Koh Muk.

Visitors traveling by vehicle, ferry or boat first travel to Baan Saladan, which houses the main tourism office on Koh Lanta. The majority of banks, dive shops, markets, clinics, and motorcycle rental businesses are located in Baan Saladan.

Weather

The ideal season to explore Koh Lanta island is when the weather is dry and hot from November to April. Especially, December, January, and February are peak months for ideal weather. Average temperatures are pleasantly in the mid-80s in November and December but then climb progressively to a scorching 103 degrees Fahrenheit or more in late April.
