The unforgettable moments in Lanta Animal Welfare
Koh Lanta is home to the non-profit organization Lanta Animal Welfare (LAW). Through sterilization and care, LAW seeks to rescue sick and suffering animals on the island. Additionally, LAW offers mobile clinics and community support for education. Every day, one tour is offered by LAW to guests.
- Lanta Animal Welfare was founded by Junie Kovacs in 2005.
- Her mission was to end the suffering of the hundreds of homeless, abused, and injured animals on Koh Lanta.
- To date, we have sterilized and treated over 15,000 animals, and with your support, we continue to grow to help more and more animals each year.
For one of our uplifting and inspiring behind-the-scenes tours, which our volunteer staff will be happy to deliver, please be on time at 10.45 am. We charge a nominal entrance fee of 100 baht for kids and 200 baht for adults.
Visit Kitty City to interact with our adorable rescue kitties and shop our Kitty Shop for mementos. Time For Lime Cooking School is one of our primary sponsors.
