Is 10 days enough for Thailand?

Yes for a first trip, if you choose: Bangkok, the north and some beach time, or Bangkok, the old capitals and the north. To add the southern islands without rushing, allow about 15 days.

North or beach in 10 days?

For a first trip, combine both: 6–7 days in Bangkok and the north, then 3 nights on the beach. If you prefer culture, spend all 10 days on Bangkok, Ayutthaya, Sukhothai, Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai.

When is the best time for a 10-day trip?

November to February is dry and cooler across most of the country; March to May is very hot; June to October is the rainy season, with showers that are often short and fewer visitors.
