Known among Thais as Buddha Phra Puttamingmongkol Akenakkiri, the main statue was built in 2004 and measures 25 metres in diameter at the base. The entire body is made of reinforced concrete, covered in a beautiful Burmese white jade marble that glistens in the sunlight. The views and the image itself are breathtaking.
