After breakfast, enjoy free time until your driver transfers you to Bangkok Airport for your direct flight to Phu Quoc, Vietnam.

Upon arrival, meet your driver and transfer to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free to relax on the beach or enjoy the hotel’s facilities.

After breakfast, travel north to Bang Pa-In Summer Palace. Explore its landscaped grounds and discover buildings reflecting a blend of Thai, Chinese and European architectural influences.

Continue to Ayutthaya, Thailand’s former capital, to explore some of its most remarkable historical sites.

Begin at Wat Mahathat, where ancient brick ruins offer an introduction to the city’s past. Continue to Wat Phra Si Sanphet, the former royal temple, known for its three distinctive chedis.

Lunch is at your own expense.

In the afternoon, visit Wat Chaiwatthanaram, set beside the Chao Phraya River. Take time to admire its Khmer-influenced architecture and photograph the central prang and surrounding structures.

Return to Bangkok in the late afternoon. The evening is free to relax or explore independently.

After an early breakfast, depart for Maeklong Railway Market, where stalls line an active railway track. Explore the market and, subject to the train schedule, watch vendors pull back their awnings and goods as the train passes through.

Continue to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market and take a boat ride through its lively canals. Discover vendors selling tropical fruits, local snacks and other goods from their boats, with time to browse the stalls along the waterways.

Return to Bangkok in the early afternoon. Lunch is at your own expense.

The remainder of the afternoon is free for shopping. Choose to be dropped off at your hotel or a central shopping area, where you can browse independently for clothing, handicrafts and souvenirs.

Guide and vehicle services end upon drop-off in Bangkok. If you continue shopping, the return transfer to your hotel is at your own expense. The order of the market visits may be adjusted according to the train schedule.

After breakfast, begin your discovery of Bangkok at the Grand Palace, a magnificent complex used for royal ceremonies and official occasions. Within its grounds, visit Wat Phra Kaew, home to the revered Emerald Buddha.

Continue to Wat Pho, famous for its impressive Reclining Buddha, followed by Wat Traimit, which houses the remarkable solid-gold Buddha.

In the afternoon, board a traditional long-tail boat for a journey along the Chao Phraya River and through the canals of Thonburi. Pass waterside homes and neighbourhood temples, offering a glimpse into daily life along Bangkok’s waterways.

Afterwards, visit Wat Arun, the iconic Temple of Dawn, before returning to your hotel for some time to freshen up and relax.

In the evening, meet your guide and transfer to Chinatown for a walking street food tour. Explore the lively streets and stop at selected local eateries to sample a variety of Thai-Chinese flavours. Your guide will introduce the dishes and share insights into Bangkok’s food culture.

The included tastings together make up your dinner. After the tour, transfer back to your hotel.
