  • By car: If you’re arriving from Klong Muang or Tubkaek, it’s convenient to take a cab. Approximate costs are 400 THB for Klong Muang and 500 THB for Tubkaek.
  • Local transport: To get from Krabi bus station to Ao Nang, you can take the famous Thai local transport, the songthaew. Known as the most economical mode of transport, the songthaew costs just 60 THB. These vehicles are available every 15 to 30 minutes near 7-Eleven, at the intersection of Soi 8 and Maharaj Road. In this case, look for the white vehicle to find the right songthaew.
  • By ferry: Available only from November to April. During these months, ferries connect Phi Phi Island, Koh Lanta and Phuket to Ao Nang.
